About Me

From the time I was a girl growing up on a farm, I have loved to read. Now I am a woman of a certain age, whose children have children of their own. I enjoy writing because I love reading. It's inborn and I treasure this part of myself.

This blog is reflective more than informative. My book club has been the center of my sphere of friends.  We trust each other and find common themes in our lives. We love and miss our sweet friend Nomie who inspired us and made us laugh. 

We are the BUGs. 

As much as I love to read, I also like audio books because of the narrators' performances. The variety of accents and voices they portray bring the books to life just as well (or better) than my imagination. Sometimes I both read a book and listen. It's a wonderful experience to have both.
